Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' may be his most festive story, but an adaptation of another Dickens classic is coming to Dublin's National Concert Hall later this month.

'Oliver!' the musical is, of course, a modern classic - and the stage adaptation has proven equally successful since first premiering in 1960.

You'll have a chance to see the story (and sing along with the likes of 'Consider Yourself' and 'You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two') for yourself this festive season, as it runs at the NCH from December 27th - January 3rd.

Tony Finnegan will return to the NCH stage to play Fagin, while Roisin Sullivan will reprise her role as Nancy. The role of Oliver is TBC, but there will be over 100 singers, dancers and various street urchins taking to the stage for 11 performances only.

There will be two performances a day, 2pm and 6pm. Tickets are €25 and on sale from nch.ie/01 4170000 now, and family tickets are also available.
