Shane Langan (the tall one from Dublin comedy group Diet of Worms) hosts Not Also, But Only, a brand new night of live comedy literature in Bewley's Café Theatre, Grafton Street on Wednesday, March 18th at 8pm.

Shane presents a laid-back evening of short story-telling from the most entertaining minds in Irish comedy. Following the massive (in an intimate way) success of January's inaugural show, which featured the story-telling brilliance of Irish comedy stallwarts Maeve Higgins, Jarlath Regan and Damian Clark, its time to repeat the feat. As usual, the bill is kept top-secret until each guest is introduced to the stage, but expect another top line-up of the best comedians and writers in the country.

Shane has spent the last number of years as a regular on the Irish and international comedy scenes with Diet of Worms. This included three Edinburgh Fringe Festival runs, the group's monthly Puffincat Comedy Club and January's RTE broadcast of Project Ha Ha's Dublin Stories. Now Shane has created one of the most unique comedy nights in the country, where his friends from the Irish comedy scene join him on stage to make the audience laugh and perhaps cry using a medium that we just never normally get to see them use. March 18th's show is another step on the way back to Edinburgh for Shane as he prepares to take the new show to the 2009 Fringe Festival.

Admission is FREE and doors open at 8PM SHARP. Capacity at Bewley's is small, strictly limited and strictly first come/first served, so please get there early to avoid disappointment.
