As Shock approaches their 2nd birthday they've invited 3 of their favourite DJs from the 'other capital' to be guests at The Button Factory for the night. Rory Phillips returns to Shock following his set back at their first birthday in Kennedy's. As many will already know, Rory was resident at London's infamous T.R.A.S.H nights which led the way in breaking new music for over ten years on the London scene. A night where ravers, rockers, mods and clubbers came together for the first time, a mixing of styles that was an indicator of the music melting pot that would follow. Playing awkward dance, forgotten post-punk classics and electronic oddities has seen him DJ to crowds all across the world. Bright young things Skull Juice make only their second visit to Dublin, having previously played Shock's UltraShock#001 event. One of the UK's most hotly tipped up and coming DJ duos, Skull Juice purvey a dark and twisted take on the disco sound. Opening up the night is Shock C.E.O Jon Averill who makes a rare (these days!) appearance on the decks. Doors open at 11pm. Admission is €10
