Strawberry Festival: 28th - 30th June 2013
The Strawberry Festival is one of Ireland's oldest and most diverse of festivals featuring music from local and national artists. Strawberry Princesses will attend an opening night ball leading to a selection of the Strawberry Queen who will then be entered into the Rose of Tralee Competition. The festival also boasts a new Sportive event, an All-Ireland Farmers Market, a singing pubs competition, music competition for teenagers, loads of children's activities, fringe events plus much much more. Dublin Pride 2013 will be a phenomenal festival celebrating three very important historic milestones. This festival will represent the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Irish Gay movement; the 30th anniversary of the Dublin Pride Parade and the 20th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Ireland.
