Michael Mee has been described by Time Out New York as "Woody Allen with a Cork brogue" and has toured with Des Bishop. A former solicitor and law lecturer, he is now a full-time stand-up comedian and writer.

TV credits include the Savage Eye, the Late Late Show and the World Stands Up (Paramount). He has written for Des Bishop: Under the Influence, as well as for Colin Murphy, Deirdre O'Kane and Barry Murphy. He has performed at the Edinburgh Festival, the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, the Comedy Carnival at the Iveagh Gardens, the comedy tent at the Electric Picnic and Oxegen as well as the New York Irish Comedy Festival.
