Come along to this magical Summer event with Fireman Sam and Dora the Explorer from 12 noon to 5pm. Trains depart the station on the hour. Meet Sam and Dora between train trips. Music, dance and balloon modelling. The magic of rails golden age has been brought to life in Kilmeadan. Board the train at Kilmeadan Station, hear the whistle blow and take off on an exciting journey through the countryside, taking in panoramic views of the River Suir, get a glimpse in to Mount Congreve Gardens, make a wish as you pass through the Fairy Wood and on to Carriganore.
The train journey last 40 minutes. Come prepared with a jacket if you want to sit in the open carriages. Closed sections also available. This is a fun experience for all ages. Bring your own picnic, there are indoor and outdoor picnic tables. Between train trips meet Fireman Sam and Dora the Explorer. Dance along to their favourite songs, bring a camera to take photos. Also available on the day will be fantastic balloon modelling. Choose from a large range of balloon models... swords, hats, flowers, butterflies, monkeys, monsters and more!
