See re-enactors dressed in costumes spanning from the Bronze Age, through Iron Age, Early Medieval to 16th Century at a special Lughnasa Festival celebration at Craggaunowen.

The festival will have a multitude of ongoing displays demonstrating various aspects of Ireland's history and heritage, from different time periods with showcase events such as a Brehon Law Trials and a hand-to-hand combat demonstration.

Visitors will get a unique glimpse of what living conditions were like for Celtic families living in a Crannóg with costumes, demonstrations and discussions on aspects of Bronze Age and Iron Age technology and lifestyle. Also on show will be a range of replica Bronze Age clothing, artefacts, weapons and jewellery, for the public to inspect.
