Lismore Music Festival (classical and opera) is a unique Summer event in the picturesque town of Lismore - June Bank Holiday weekend. An eclectic music festival with opera at its core incorporating food, wine gardens, historic architecture and much more.
The Lismore Music Festival presents 2 nights of opera, recitals in stately homes on the Blackwater River, concerts in St. Carthage's Cathedral, audience development and access programmes, young audience education programmes, free events and an on the job training LMF mentor programme. It attracts visitors from all over Ireland and abroad, stimulates the local economy, bringing the best of Irish and International music talent to West Waterford and provides performance opportunities for young emerging Irish singers.
