For the 21st year, The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival will take over Kilkenny for the June Bank Holiday Weekend. This year's line-up includes a mix of Irish and international acts, old favourites and newcomers to the festival.

Irish comedians on the bill include David O'Doherty, Al Porter, Deirdre O'Kane, PJ Gallagher, Andrew Maxwell, Jason Byrne, Neil Delamere, Foil, Arms and Hog., internet comedy stars Waterford Whispers News and Meave Higgins who performs in Ireland for the first time in a year.

International talents includes Igor Meerson the first ever Russian comic to take the stage in Kilkenny, Shazia Mirza who brings over her show "The Kardashians Made Me Do It' about being a Muslim woman in the UK, and Tiff Stevenson who had one of the best reviewed shows at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Last Leg host Adam Hills, Jason Manford, Reginald D. Hunter and Rich Hall are also part of the festival line-up.

On the final night of the festival Cat Laughs goes to the races with a night of comedy at Gowran racecourse, featuring Hector and the Waterford Whispers News team providing live coverage of the racing and more.
