Ever wonder what it would be like to be homeless? Homelessness remains a pertinent issue in Ireland and what many people forget is that it can happen to anyone. Life's No Picnic on the Streets is an inspiring exhibition that features an impressive collection of artwork created in workshop with professional artists, musician, poets and service users of Depaul Ireland homeless services. The collection is inspired by the homeless experience and includes photography, film, poetry, song and multi media.

Developed in collaboration with service users living in Depaul Ireland's projects during workshops with professional artists, the exhibition reflects on the cherished memories we all have in common and the milestones that sustain us. The hope of the organisers is that it will highlight issues that society at times can struggle to understand. Life's no Picnic is a positive exhibition that seeks to bring out the life stories of people who are homeless. Come along to understand more about the individual people who have found themselves homeless in Ireland in 2011.

Admission to the event is Free. For more information see www.depaulireland.org
