Le Cheile Festival cranks back up this August in Oldcastle. One of Ireland's longest running independent Festivals, the Le Chéile Festival continues to draw big crowds of musicians, artists, music fans, and tourists to the weekends festivities every August bank holiday weekend.

This year boasts a fine mixture of musical artists with something to suit all ages, musical tastes and contemporary styles. Highlight gigs will include the hugely successful HamSandwich from Kells on Sun 4th, who will be fresh from supporting Bon Jovi at the best and most legendary open air venue in the country, Slane Castle. Support on the night will come from the excellent and rapidly rising Walking on Cars, and the new Irish success story KeyWest.

Also on the bill are the musical phenomenon KÍLA, who are embarking on a country-wide tour this year to celebrate 25 years in the business. KÍLA also played the very first inception of Le Cheile, so things have come full circle. For more information check out Le Chéile’s website.
