Now celebrating its 17th year of production, the Le Cheile Festival is one of Ireland's longest running independent festivals. It takes place from July 29th - August 4th this year and expects to, as always, to draw large crowds of musicians, artists, music fans, and tourists to the weekends festivities.

Gavin James, Corner Boy, The Heathers, Orla Gartland and Niamh Crowther are all joining one of the best ever Le Cheile Festival line ups.

Headliners this year are The Riptide Movement who will hit the stage on Saturday, 2nd August. Ryan Sheridan will be headlining on Sunday 3rd Aug.

Up and coming Irish talent, including Corner Boy and Sal Vitro will grace the main stage on Monday, August 4th. As per tradition, the festival will close with a top rock covers band - who better than Big Generator to bring the house down?

Returning to Le Cheile in 2014 is Barry 'Jazz' Finnegan who will be bringing his amazing talents to The Fincourt over the festival weekend. Barry creates giant photo realistic portraits that will be accompanied by live acoustic music throughout the day.

Pop-up art shops will be dotted all around Oldcastle bringing a treasure trove of original artistic talent to the town on Saturday and Sunday.

Le Cheile festival is a not-for-profit venture, run by arts & music lovers for arts & music lovers.
