Some of the biggest names in comedy will team up for the second year running for the FM104 Help a Dublin Child "Just Havin’ a Laugh!" Gig in aid of Temple Street Children's University Hospital. The gig, which was a sell-out event last year, will take place on Saturday 28th of June 2009 in Vicar Street. Tickets are only €28 including booking fee which guarantees excellent value for money in these recessionary times!  So far the acts announced are Australian comic genius Adam Hills, star of The Panel Colin Murphy, comedy quartet Dead Cat Bounce, the always popular Karl Spain, Dublin’s own Eric Lalor and the ever-hilarious Maeve Higgins with other acts to be added to the line up over the coming weeks. Last year the FM104 Help a Dublin Child appeal raised an incredible €126,425 for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital and this year, all of the funds raised through the appeal will go towards the purchase of vital, life-saving equipment for the Hospital. Both Angela McNulty, Special Events Manager at Temple Street and Dave Kelly, Programme Director FM104 hope the event will be a sell-out.
