Oisín falls head over heels in love with Niamh and follows her to the distant land of Tír na nÓg. We all know the story, but this play doesn’t take place fadó fadó, but in Dublin, present day.
Oisín, Eoghan and Mark have been friends since school and post college, lived life together in the not-so-fast, meandering lane. That was until Oisín fell for Niamh in Coppers and followed after her into the sunset to London.
Now three months later, he’s home and all he wants for Christmas is the familiarity of home but things aren’t quite how he left them…
A new comedy for today that puts a twist on the old story of Tír na nÓg. A play about friendship, love, not knowing where you’re going but knowing you don’t want to be left behind.
