The “glistening sonics” of electronic music enticed a grunge loving 16 year old James Zabiela to his first set of belt drive turntables some years ago. Fast forward to 2009 and James is one of the most prolific DJs and producers on the planet. Over the last 10 years he has played endless gigs the world over, some era defining like his ongoing (8 years and counting) residency at Space in Ibiza to one off shows like Exit Festival 2006 where Goldie MC’d over his set. As a follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed The Masters Series, James Zabiela and Renaissance have joined forces again to release James' forthcoming sequel album, The Masters Series: LIFE. POD are very excited to give everyone who attends James’ show on Friday 30th April at Tripod a FREE copy! The album will be presented in a shrink-wrapped, full-colour wallet on a flexi-DVD that's both eco-friendly and lightweight. Alongside the two mixes that comprise the compilation, the free album will also feature exclusive videos as well as other digital content. The album will also be released in the traditional CD and digital formats on 12th April. You can also catch James at Belfast's Stiff Kitten on May 1st.
