Screening as part of the first ever Smock Alley Christmas Fayre, this classic Christmas favourite tells the story of a despairingly frustrated businessman who is shown a brief glimpse of what life would have been like if he never existed.

The first ever Smock Alley Christmas Fayre will see the theatre’s spectacular Banquet Hall brimming with festive market stalls selling everything from crafts and jewellery to clothing and books, the perfect place to find that last minute gift or to treat yourself to a mince pie, mulled wine and other homemade goodies. All this will be set to a sparkling seasonal soundtrack, with a selection of Christmas songs and carols performed by Smock Alley’s ensemble-in-residence, Tonnta Music. There’ll even be a visit from the man himself, Santa Claus, who’ll be dropping in to say hello to all the kids who’ve been nice this year.
