Tickets are now on sale for the five incredible ticketed events on the programme for the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) Festival, Summer Rising, taking place in the beautiful gardens and grounds of the museum and the historic North Wing from July 18 - 26.

The much anticipated exhibition Propositions by Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica - opening on July 18 - was the inspiration behind the Festival. Following the exhibition opening will be the first event - an extraordinary performance of THISISPOPBABY's WERK

On Saturday July 19, Concrete Tiki's The Hare, will delight adults and children alike. The Concrete Tiki, constructed by artists Daniel Tuomey and Tom Watt in the Formal Garden, will be the site from which The Hare - a food project devised by artist Fiona Hallinan and chef Katie Sanderson - will operate hourly food sittings from 12 noon - 5pm. The Saturday after, July 26th, The Cake Café will serve a set menu of locally sourced Irish ingredients for a sit-down three course lunch with bespoke serving platters designed by Dublin design studio Distinctive Repetition that guests get to take home!

Other highlights include The IMMA Banquet on Friday, 25 July with a special private tour of the Hélio Oiticica exhibition Propositions exclusive to Banquet guests before the banquet doors open given by Head of Exhibitions at IMMA, Rachael Thomas.

The Festival will end with the IMMA Summer Party. A fantastic night will be in store, with specially curated food and cocktails by House in Cork Opera House and Luncheonette, a specially commissioned edition of Gracelands, DJ sets from Donal Dineen, David Kitt, Emmet Condon, 11:11 and the first Irish performance of Gang Colours.
