Check your diaries. Go to May 2nd. Free? Good! Then mark down to the 2014 Barretstown Inspirations gig at the Olympia Theatre. A great night with The Stunning, The 4 of Us and the Republic of Loose is in store and all for a very good cause.

Joining them will be Paddy Casey, The Hot Sprockets and the Barretstown Allstars supergroup, featuring Tom Dunne and Jerry Fish among others with more acts still to be announced.

The show will raise essential funds for Barretstown, the residential camp for seriously ill children which, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Barretstown CEO Dee Ahearn says, "We're so grateful to all the wonderful musicians who've given up their time to perform at the Inspirations gigs over the last 5 years. We're really excited about this year’s line-up and we're looking forward to another amazing night on May 2nd."

The Inspirations gig, now in its sixth year, has gained a stellar reputation for being one of the major charity events in Ireland. Known for its unique musical collaborations and impressive line-up over the years, including Sinead O’Connor, Glen Hansard, David Gray, The Coronas, The Strypes and Villagers, the 2014 Barretstown Inspirations gig, hosted by Ray D'Arcy, is bound to be one not to be missed.

Tickets cost €36.50 and are available at usual outlets. All proceeds go directly to Barretstown.
