Imagine is a unique celebration of the arts in Waterford city, providing an opportunity for everyone to experience and participate in a broad range of creative arts. Now in its sixth year Imagine features live performances and special workshops for people of all ages and interests. A platform for local talent and a showcase for international artists, striving to commission new work that pushes boundaries and challenges audiences. There will be over 80 events in teen days in Waterford covering theatre, dance, film, music, visual art and family events. Highlights over the course of the festival include musical performances by Ron Sexsmith, Mercury Rev, Michael McGoldrick and Andy Irvine. Red Kettle will also be presenting the premiere of their new play 'Climb'. There will be poetry readings from UK-based Roger McGough and, as If that weren't enough, The French Film Festival will screen 5 new works. The Imagine Arts Festival takes place in various venues throughout Waterford from 24th October to 2nd November.
