IDEATE - a multi-disciplinary mini-festival about making takes place in Kilkenny City on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July.
IDEATE is two days of design, craft and technology-focused talks, workshops, music, screenings and exhibitions in the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny. The packed programme offers information and access to design processes and digital technology through discussions and hands-on practice; and also includes a variety of free drop-in creative activities, design challenges, workshops, award- winning films on design and craft, street food, craft beer, live music with Sounds of System Breakdown and an exciting live-art Draw-Off between the multi- award winning, Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon versus Kilkenny-born craft-punk Mick Minogue.
