Holi is the festival which marks the coming of spring. It is not just the season which is changing, but also the mood of the people. The festival signifies the spirit of brotherhood and unity. It is often said that on the event of this festival even enemies forget their differences and embrace, greeting each other. Holi is celebrated by the people of all caste, class or creed, without any distinction. It treats everyone equally, wherein all the people drenched in different colours, lose their identity to become one. The colour frenzy of oranges and reds, greens and blues, purples and blacks soon wash away all the enmity and hatred and serves to bring the community closer.
