Heroes Week is a 5 day gathering of Emergency Services personnel of Irish Heritage (and their friends) hosted by their counterparts in the Kerry Garda, Fire Service, Coastguard, RNLI, Red Cross and Ambulance Service. It begins with a civic welcome at the Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre on Wednesday, 12 June and the programme includes genealogy workshops, visits to local emergency services headquarters, guided tours of Killarney, Dingle Peninsula and North Kerry, performance of Siamsa Tíre - the National Folk Theatre of Ireland, a night at the Kingdom Greyhound Racing Stadium, exhibition of vehicles and equipment, dedication of Neil Armstrong Way in Tralee, Parade of Massed Pipe Bands with visiting Heroes in uniform, Heroes Gala Banquet on Sunday, 16 June.

Heroes Week incorporates two existing festivals - Fenit Seabreeze Maritime Festival and Tralee Garden Festival - which take place at the same time and to which Heroes are invited. Full 5 day programme with 3* hotel accommodation from €500.
