The Greystones Arts Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts festival that will be held over the June Bank Holiday. It offers the community a chance to celebrate the beautiful town of Greystones – awarded in 2008, the most liveable town in the world. The festival will showcase all Greystones has to offer throughout the weekend. It will include music, street theatre from Ireland and Europe, opening street spectacle parade, comedy, music and alot more. The festival begins with workshops in all elements of carnival making including stilt walking and samba drumming.

All participants, including the community and visitors are welcome to join in our opening parade that includes Irelands premiers carnival and parade makers and performers. Throughout the weekend shows sourced from around Ireland and Europe will be performing all over the town from cafe's to parks, the streets to the harbour. There will be music, dance - including Wicklow's biggest flash mob, comedy and much more. This is a weekend for everyone, be it family, community or stranger on their own. A very bright happy welcome waits in Greystones. In addition Restaurants will be offering festival discounts and there will be markets and other festival treats in store for the visitor throughout the weekend.
