Grandmaster Flash was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007 and became the first hip hop artist to do so. He is also known as the first ever Hip-Hop DJ to make cutting, scratching and mixing popular. He's been ploughing his trade since the late 1970s and is still busily touring the world. His sets are known for their mix of classic old school hip hop alongside the greatest party tunes from the last few decades. In other words a little bit of something for everyone thrown into the mix. Grandmaster Flash is winging his way to The Village HQ on February 18th with the extremely low ticket price of €12.50. The last time he played it was sold out and tickets were over €25. Who said it was all bad in this recession?
