This year, Glitch presents a series of exhibitions, taking place both online and in the gallery, that examines how digital artists are engaging with and responding to the current economic, political, and cultural factors that shape the Internet.

The festival will discuss and explore how the practice of the digital artist is in transition, not only due to the development of digital technologies, but also because digital artists are increasingly informed by offline factors that affect how the Internet, as a creative platform, is being developed. Run Computer, Run showcases how creative technologies provide a critical lens with which our everyday culture can be examined.

From augmented reality to video games to interactive artworks, both the gallery and festival website will demonstrate the ways in which digital artists are taking on some of the key social, economic, political and cultural issues that influence the change and development of the internet.
