Glider DJs will be taking over EVERY ROOM of The Workman's Club from 10pm till late on Friday 25th November.
Not only that, Glider will be introducing three new resident DJs who will rotate on a monthly basis.
Glider is delighted to welcome Jim Carroll (Irish Times/On The Record), Alison Curtis (Phantom FM), and Jonny Tiernan (AU Magazine) to the family. All three DJs will play on the night throughout the whole venue, and then rotate on a monthly basis on the first floor from January 2012.
The brainchild of Cillian McDonnell, Tanya Sweeney and Bernie Divilly, Glider’s playlists will continue to be a stew of what we know and love; from MIA to Major Lazer, Caribou to The Cure, Pavement to the Pixies, The National to Not Squares and My Bloody Valentine to Mogwai. And with guest DJs (who have so far included Michelle Doherty, Paul McLoone, Dan Hegarty, Eamon Sweeney, May Kay (Fight Like Apes), Richie Egan (Jape/The Redneck Manifesto/VisionAir) and The Cast Of Cheers) being given free reign on the decks, it’s always best to expect the unexpected.
