It's officially summer holiday time and there's fun and laughter in the air, not only because the kids are free from school but because it's FunnyFest season!
Ireland's first dedicated comedy festival for children will place at The Ark, Temple Bar from Saturday, July 5 - Sunday, August 24. The whole family will be tickled pink all summer long with loads of fun workshops, stand-up gigs and performances with some of the top comedians from Ireland and beyond.
Funny people taking part in the stand up comedy gigs for familes include Andrew Stanley, Kevin Gildea, Foil, Arms and Hog, Marcus Olaoire, Bec Hill, Reuben, Al Porter, Sharon Mannion, Paul Tylak, Totally Wired and Joe Rooney.
Kids will be set for a belly full of laughs with workshops in writing and performing, funny poetry, animation and slapstick and comical music and theatre performances. There won't be a dry eye in The Ark this summer and trust us - that's a good thing!
