Funderland, Ireland's biggest Fun Fair, returns to the RDS for its 33rd (!) year. This year's incarnation will feature up to five roller coasters, two giant ferris wheels, and as many as fifteen different thrilling rides carefully selected from among the top attractions in Europe. Taking pride of place is Shockwave, the fourth largest travelling roller coaster in the world, and the largest outside of Germany. Designed by the legendary Anton Schwarzkopf, this twenty-five metre high ride is transported in twenty-six special trailers measuring well over a kilometer in length! Are you brave enough? If the high-octane rides aren't really your cup of tea, there are also plenty of amusements for all the family to enjoy. Funderland will be in the RDS until 11th January and admission will cost you €2.
