A new play commissioned by Meath County Council for Bealtaine Festival, Fruitcake starts off as a cookery demonstration but is in fact an account of one woman’s life and how each ingredient reminds her of past memories and decisions made which ultimately changed the course of her life. Funny and poignant with murder, mystery, intrigue and accessible visuals, this play has something for everyone.
