As we begin to wind down 2021 and leave it as a distant, disgruntled memory, it's time to look ahead at the incredible artists gracing our shores in 2022.

The announcement of 'Forbidden Fruit Festival' for 2022 this afternoon sees a shedload of fine artists lined up for The Royal Hospital in Kilmainham next June Bank Holiday weekend.

Headlining the festival's 10th anniversary will be the New Zealand wonder that is Lorde, who released her third album 'Solar Power' earlier this year.

Joining Lorde will be Hot Chip, Bicep, Kojaque, Chet Faker, Peggy Gou, Tom Misch, The Avalanches, Floating Points, Princess Nokia, Biig Piig, Folamour, Jayda G, Franky Wah, Pip Millett, Gemma Dunleavy, Malaki and Aby Coulibaly.

These are just the first acts announced for the two-day weekend festival, with more to be revealed next year.

Tickets for 'Forbidden Fruit Festival' 2022 will go on sale next Thursday, December 2 at 8 am. Those interested in signing up for first access to the festival's pre-sale can do so by heading over to their website (here).

The presale will open on Tuesday, November 30 at 9 am and will be open until December 1 at 8 pm.

'Forbidden Fruit Festival' 2022 will take place on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5.
