Freedom is the theme for this year's Dublin Pride 2014 and events have already kicked off. They'll be taking place all across the city until Sunday, June 29th.

The Dublin Pride Festival is the largest LGBTQ pride festival in Ireland. Established in 1983, the Dublin Pride Festival has grown to a ten-day festival with arts, social and cultural events celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer ( LGBTQ) life in Dublin.

There are loads of fun festivities in store for everyone to enjoy - with talks, theatre nights, talent shows, workshops, sports days, dog shows, music events, literary evenings, pub quizzes and club nights and of course, the Parade, which will start at the Garden of Remembrance and finish at Merrion Square Park, on Saturday, June 28th - with loads more in between.

The 2014 Grand Marshall will be Colm O’Gorman - current executive director of Amnesty International in Ireland and founder of One in Four, an Irish charity which supports men and women who have been sexually abused and/or suffered sexual violence.

So get that Rainbow Flag a-flying, put your Pride Face on and celebrate Dublin Pride 2014 this June!
