Abbeyfeale Fleadh by the Feale, now in its 20th year, offers a feast of traditional music, dance and storytelling over the five days of the May Bank Holiday weekend.
The festival features a host of entertainment with well-established art and busking competitions; a concert; and a bone-playing competition - an event unique to Abbeyfeale and a great attraction.
Held outdoors on stage in the square, it has drawn competitors from America, Europe and England along with entries from all over Ireland. The event received favourable mention in American music magazines.
