The Flavours of Fingal Show will combine the sights and sounds of an agricultural show with an unforgettable food and family fun experience. This two day show will take place at Newbridge House & Farm in Donabate, Co. Dublin this coming 20th & 21st July. An extensive farm section will feature the hustle and bustle of livestock and sheep competitions, equestrian chases, dog trials and other agricultural demos.

Meanwhile a Food village will be located, nearby, in the historic walled garden of Newbridge House. It will offer a mix of food market and food stalls, where visitors can enjoy delicious tastings from the amazing selection of local artisan producers, catch a cooking demonstration by local chefs using local produce or simply soak up the atmosphere. Visitors also immerse themselves in live music, gardening expos, allotment development classes, chat with the experts on hand, as well as biodiversity demos and interactive displays. For the little ones, there will be an entire programme of entertainment including face painting, crafts, interactive biodiversity events, and gaelic games … to list but a few.

The setting for the show is Newbridge House & Farm, the house itself is a fine Georgian mansion dating back to 1736 which has undergone a programme of renovation, reconstruction and restoration returning it to its 18th Century grandeur. The Flavours of Fingal Show will be based in the grounds of the House and around its 19th century traditional farm, which in itself is a fabulous visitor experience with its picturesque old buildings, old breeds of farm animals, machinery and displays of the farming techniques which were part and parcel of Irish farming life in the 19th century.
