The 2019 Food & Wine Awards in association with Rémy Martin are set to take place on Sunday, August 25th in The Shelbourne, Dublin, and finalists have now been selected for the most highly-anticipated awards in the hospitality industry.

Nominations have been broken down into select categories:

  • Regional Awards 2019 – Nominate for Best Chef and Best Restaurant in Dublin, Connacht, Leinster, Ulster and Munster.
  • National Restaurant Awards 2019 – Nominate for Hotel Restaurant, Best Casual Dining, Farm & Sea to Plate, Best for Wine Lovers, Classic, Pub Food, Café of the Year and Start-Up of the Year. 
  • The Readers' Choice 2019 which will be decided by online votes in June.
  • National People Awards 2019 – Nominate for Rising Star, Host, Pastry Chef, Sommelier, Restaurant Bartender, International Chef, and Outstanding Champion.

The list represents the very best talent in the hospitality industry across the island of Ireland, from individual achievements in the last 12 months to the team effort that goes into making a restaurant a place you want to return to time and again.

The awards ceremony in the Shelbourne will see food prepared by Executive Head Chef Garry Hughes and his team who promise a spectacular meal for attendees this year. Tickets include a drinks reception followed by a seasonal menu with matching wines from O'Briens Wines.
