Come and explore the 14th century Augustinian Abbey with more examples of heraldic shields. Can you find the Sheela-na-Gig in the Town Wall that guards an entrance to the town? Take a guided tour with Back to the Walls Tours. Or book yourself into the Secret Tour of Fethard which explores more of the hidden spaces in the town. Festivities on Sunday starts with a medieval costumed gathering in the Main Square which parades through the town to the Valley Park which hosts the family friendly medieval events.

Everybody is welcomed and encouraged to come in medieval costume and to take part in the parade which starts at 2pm. The Valley Park is transformed into a tented medieval venue for the afternoon with re-enactments, games, craft displays, coin striking, archaeology, music, food and much more. Keep an eye out for the local wolfhounds on the day!
