Waterford Harvest Food Festival: 9th - 15th September 2013

Dingle Tradfest: 12th - 15th September 2013
Dingle Tradfest is an energetic music festival focussing on all forms of Irish and folk music with a specific interest in fusion music. The inaugural festival in 2011 proved a rousing success with visiting musicians and businesses in the area delighted with event. Past artists at the festival include overseas acts such as KAN and Irish based artists such as Liam Ó Maonlaí, Niall Vallely, Donal Lunny, Karan Casey and Conal Ó Grada. Read more.

Irish Bog Snorkelling Championships: 13th - 15th September 2013
The 2013 Irish Bog Snorkelling Championships challenges participants to swim a 120 metre strip of bog using snorkel and flipper power only in the fastest time possible. Based outside Castleblayney in County Monaghan, this unique event ticks all the boxes for anyone who wants a challenge. Read more.

The Midleton Food and Drink Festival: 14th September 2013
For a feast in the East. Now in its tenth year it's a true feast for the senses. The event has an open air food and drink market with over 60 stands which showcases the new food culture that has developed in the Midleton and surrounding areas, combined with a truly remarkable extravaganza of fun. Flightfest: 15th September 2013
Thousands of people are expected to gather by the quays along the River Liffey, on Sunday, 15th September, when over 30 aircraft will fly through the city of Dublin as part of the Gathering Ireland 2013. They will set off from Dublin Airport, into Dublin Port and up along the River Liffey, as far as the Customs House. Read more.
