It's that time of the week again, where we bring you all of the best of the festivals upcoming. Summer time may be over but festival time isn't. Here is some of the great festivals coming up over the next few weeks.

Up first is Slieve Bloom Storytelling Festival which takes place from October 9th – 12th in great houses and Castles. The Slieve Blooms is a landscape of mountains, valleys, glens, waterfalls, ancient raths and Medieval castles, in the heart of Ireland. The Cork Folk Festival runs from October 10th – 13th across 30 venues in Cork. The Cork Folk Festival is an annual music event that takes place in Ireland's southern capital, Cork. The 34 year old festival is one of the most important folk and traditional music events in Ireland and has a growing reputation in Europe. Read more

Staying in Cork we also have the Kinsale Gourmet Food Festival which takes place from October 11th – 13th, showcasing the best of local produce and national chefs. Kinsale Gourmet Festival, now in its 37th year, is the oldest food festival in Ireland. Visitors can expect to experience a variety of different events over the course of the weekend. Read more.

If walking festivals are of interest then make sure you head to Co. Waterford for the Nire Valley Comeragh Mountains 20th Annual Autumn Walking Festival from October 11th – 13th.
