The Taste of Monaghan Festival 2013 - 4th - 6th October, Monaghan
The 5th Taste of Monaghan Festival will be a joyful and inclusive community event. The programme includes showcases of local produce by internationally acclaimed producers, S.M.Es and artisan producers, a series of cookery demonstrations by top chefs, lots of tastings and samples, educational talks and presentations and activities for all the family. Open House Dublin 2013 - 4th - 6th October, Dublin
Open House Dublin is the biggest celebration of architecture in Ireland presented by the Irish Architecture Foundation. Over one weekend (4th - 6th October), almost 100 buildings of all types and periods will open up their doors to allow citizens and visitors to explore the architecture of their city. Read more.

Helly Hansen Killarney Adventure Race 2013 - 5th October, Killarney Co. Kerry
The Helly Hansen Killarney Adventure Race is an epic one day multi adventure sport race taking place in the adventure capital of Ireland, Killarney, Co. Kerry. Dromineer Literary Festival 2013 - 3rd - 6th October, Nenagh, Co Tipperary
And last but not least, the Dromineer Literary Festival takes place in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary from October 3rd – 6th and aims to showcase local and international talents. With support from the Arts Council, the Arts Office of North Tipperary County Council and the generosity of local sponsors, the festival committee have planned an exciting programme for 2013 that will include established and emerging writers.
