Rose of Tralee Gathering: 14th - 20th August 2013
The Rose of Tralee International Festival is the original Gathering since 1959, bringing thousands of people together to celebrate their Irish heritage at Rose of Tralee events around the world. The Rose of Tralee Gathering happens over three days before the 2013 Festival officially gets starts on Friday 16 August. Read more.

National Heritage Week: 17th - 25th August 2013
Whether it's castles, crafts, music or stories, National Heritage Week aims to involve you in something unique and memorable. Medieval fairs, night-time bat walks, wildlife walks and traditional music sessions, storytelling, historical re-enactments, and workshops for children; Heritage Week is a feast of events offering something for everyone and many of the events are especially for the family. Cruinniu na mBad: 16th - 18th August 2013
Cruinniu na mBad, Kinvara is a unique event celebrating our maritime history, where nothing can surpass the vision of the 'Brown Boats stealing through the misty haze' as they sail into Kinvara Quay. Galway Hookers, mostly from Connemara, will congregate in Kinvara Bay for a weekend of racing. Read more.
