This is a two pronged event.
1) Each of the villages of Dublin will invite people back to the village for a weekend of fun, culture and sport. We want the clubs, schools, employers in the villages to reach out and invite people back from the UK.
2) The second element is Dublin inviting the Mayors of the British cities with large Irish communities to come to Dublin to celebrate 'building the cities of these isles - stories and possabilities'
The second event will be held at the same time as the first event. It will focus on the shared heritage of the the British Isles - through culture, sports, literature etc.
