This is Dundalk's first festival of writing and reading. It brings together published writers such as Peter Sheridan, Declan Burke and Claudia Carroll with local writers. The festival includes a children's writers workshop, a graphic novel strand, a workshop on 'How to Get Published', a crime writers forum and a women writers forum. Most events are free and the majority happen in the centre of Dundalk Town in venues such as Dundalk Town Hall, County Library, Dundalk Institute of Technology, and local cafes. Local writers will read and perform their work on Saturday, 27 April.
