There was great excitement last year when it was announced that Armando Iannucci and Steve Coogan were reuniting on a very special stage production.

The pair, who famously created one of comedy's greatest creations in Alan Partridge, have (along with director Sean Foley) adapted Stanley Kubrick's 1964 film 'Dr. Strangelove' for the stage and it will premiere in London this September.

However, Irish fans will have the opportunity to see the show on home turf as it has been announced that Coogan, who will play the title character - a rogue US General who triggers a nuclear crisis - will bring the show to Dublin next February.

It's set to run in Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre from February 5th - 22nd 2025.

Tickets are from €21.50 and will go on sale at 9am this Friday, March 8th via Ticketmaster.
