The Paddy Glackin & Donal Lunny duo will take to the stage at Set Theatre as part of a double headliner with Pauline Scanlon, Padraig Rynne & Notify.
Paddy Glackin is one of Ireland’s best-known traditional fiddlers. Born in Dublin, he is a former member of The Bothy Band and is a noted commentator and lecturer on Irish music. Paddy is also in demand as a session player and a senior producer in RTÉ Radio.
Donal Lunny is one of the key figures in the history of Irish traditional music. He has been founding member of some of the seminal bands in the traditional music scene, including Planxty, the Bothy Band and Moving Hearts. He continues to be an influential performer and producer.
Collaborators Pauline Scanlon & Padraig Rynne with his band Notify are at the crossroads of Traditional Irish Music & ambient electronica.
