After last month's Jazz Funk theme, Discotekken move sideways again to run a night of oldschool Electro, Miami Bass & G-Funk alongside their 'standard' mix of Disco, Soul & Boogie. Joining them is Choice Cuts' superb Handsome Paddy, alongside Gmos of the internationally followed & respected InfiniteStateMachine blog. Handsome Paddy's roots are in Hip Hop, and he certainly has the skills to prove it, though he'll never be found spinning just one style of music. Electro, Dubstep, Funk, Disco, Soul etc are all essential ingredients in a Handsome Paddy DJ set. He can also rock a crowd, not something all DJs with a Hip Hop background can claim! Gmos is a DJ with impeccable & far reaching taste, known for spinning everything from Jazz to African Disco, with trademark ease. This is set to be another classic Discotekken in the intimate surrounds of the Twisted Pepper Mezz, and at €6, is as reliable & cost effective a night out can be.
