Daytripper 2014 takes place at a purpose built event site at Bolton Street in Waterford on the first weekend of July and it looks like this year's fest is going to be a truly fantastic weekend of music.

Two of the international headline acts, Kaiser Chiefs and Paloma Faith, have been dominating the UK charts in recent weeks, and the other one David Gray is releasing his hotly anticipated new album just before the event.

There will be 5 hours of continuous top quality live music from 6pm to 11pm each day on the alternating stages. The impressive line-up is:

Friday: Kaiser Chiefs, Walking On Cars, Hermitage Green, O Emperor, The Hot Sprockets and Kodakid.

Saturday: David Gray, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott (The Beautiful South) Booka Brass Band, Propeller Palms, Corner Boy and Susan O’Neill & The Low Standards.

Friday: Paloma Faith, James, Cathy Davey, King Kong Company, Solar Taxi and Hogan.

Day tickets (€37.50) and weekend tickets (€90) for the event of the summer in the South East are on sale now.
