David O'Doherty, the winner of the prestigious if.comedy returns to tour his homeland this January. Describing his comedy as 'very low energy musical whimsy' the D.O.D. has been making us laugh with his endearing tiny keyboards since 1998. The absurd randomness and banal commentary of the O'Doherty's comedy are why the Irish Times have called it 'a beautiful mix of acute observation and startling invention'. In receiving Britain's most prestigious live comedy award, David joins an elite list of former Irish winners including Dylan Moran and Tommy Tiernan.
