Clampdown presents the official launch of David Holmes "The Holy Pictures" with David Holmes playing a very special DJ set at Andrew's Lane Theatre on Saturday September 20th. The Northern Irish DJ has had an internationally successful career. He has worked on film scores, including tracks on the soundtrack of the 2001 remake of Ocean's Eleven, and has remixed tracks for U2, The Manic Street Preachers and Primal Scream. Holmes' productions are appropriately spacious and theatrical, though usually focused on future club consumption as well. So it's a good thing for us that he didn't stay in his jobs as a hairdresser or a chef back in Belfast. Support on the night comes from Twin Kranes (Live) and Clampdown DJs. Doors 11pm. Tickets are €15 plus booking fee.
