ComedyDublin presents Daphna Baram in "Killing MissD"

"Daphna Baram has pulled together a rollicking show featuring her reckless body-sharing alter-ego MissD that will have you cringe, shocked and belly-laughing in quick succession", Naana Orleans, Huffington Post.

Back from a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Killing MissD comes to The Workmans Club, Dublin.

MissD – a flamboyant, lecherous, fun-loving being, made a pact with the devil. She gets to reside inside hard nosed Israeli journalist Daphna Baram, and in return she does everything in her powers to ruin her life. Daphna, on her part, is dodging death. Suicide bombings keep missing her, a heart attack lurks at her local gym, furious readers of her political articles are after her blood and shady men conspire to break her heart. While Daphna strives to defeat her ever present mortality, MissD craves life so much she is constantly driving them both to the brink. Daphna religiously takes her medications but MissD downs them with alcohol, declares the gym “a death trap” and insists on flirting with the criminally insane. But is MissD a killer or a healer?

In her debut solo stand up comedy show, Daphna “MissD” Baram takes her audience through a hilarious journey of war and attempted reconciliation with her inner demons, her age, homeland and her own body as she establishes a tentative stand-off with Death, who has not given up on her yet.
