Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe 2013 Cynthia brings her ‘Unprepared For Life’
show to ComedyDublin. Originally from Chicago, Cynthia Levin began studying acting at age 11 and training at Chicago’s famous Second City by age 15. After having trained and performed at many of Chicago’s most prestigious acting schools and theaters, she moved to Los Angeles where she soon began performing stand-up comedy. Today, Cynthia is a seasoned, edgy and hilarious performer who has a unique ability to move in and out of characters effortlessly and grip audiences with her adeptness for story telling. These attributes as well as a great likability factor have made her a crowd favorite and was named as ‘One to Watch’ in the Hollywood Reporters Special Comedy Issue. Levin has performed at many comedy clubs throughout the U.S. including: The Improv, The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, Caroline’s Comedy Club, The Comic Strip and Dangerfield’s in NYC, Zanies and The Improv in Chicago, to name a few.
Supporting Cynthia are ComedyDublin an established comedy troupe with an ever-evolving line-up The troupe continues to provide a million laughs with nights of stand up and improv comedy. They’ve just finished a successful show in June when the fantastic Kate Smurthwaite joined them to preview her Edinburgh Fringe Festival show.
