Cross Process; a group of independent photographers with a diversity of experiences and perspectives, have arranged their first group exhibition together at the Lantern Centre, Dublin. The work presented covers a broad range of aesthetic ideals, as well as physical presentations. It is as diverse as the backgrounds of the photographers from four different nations. You will find staged drama, classic street photography, rigid formalism and surreal landscapes when you visit. While some of the prints are presented in a classic exhibition style, many will be found installed in a homely atmosphere, around the café style venue, where you are invited to poke into the corners and have a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and chat with the artists present. The event is hosted by the newly opened Lantern Centre, a place of hospitality to promote intercultural dialogue, inclusion and action.
